SASKATCHEWAN (CBC) - A 36-year-old woman from central Newfoundland has died as a result of complications from the H1N1 virus.
The Central Health Authority confirmed the woman died Saturday.
It was the first confirmed H1N1-related death in the province.
The woman had an underlying medical condition, a Central Health spokesperson said, adding that no other information about her would be released.
